Guest admission contract

Rights and obligations from the guest accommodation contract - DEHOGA

1. The guest admission contract is concluded as soon as the room has been ordered and confirmed OR if a confirmation was no longer possible for reasons of time, has been made available.

2. The conclusion of the guest admission contract obligates the contracting parties to fulfill the contract, regardless of the contracts duration.

3. The hotelier is obliged to pay compensation to the guest in case of non-provision of the room.

4. The guest is obliged, in case of non-utilization of the contractual services, to pay the agreed or customary price, minus the expenses saved by the hotelier.

5.a) The hotelier is required in good faith to assign rooms that are not used to other guests, if possible, in order to avoid losses.

 

5.b) Until the room is otherwise assigned, the guest shall pay the amount calculated in accordance with Section 4 for the duration of the contract. For room reservations in hotels, inns and guesthouses, the following cancellation fees apply:

Up to the 31st day before the start of the trip: 10% of the travel price

Up to the 21st day before the start of the trip: 20% of the travel price

Up to 11th day before the start of the trip: 40% of the travel price

Up to the 7th day before the start of the trip: 60% of the travel price

Thereafter: 80% of the travel price
